Marion Webb-De Sisto has held a keen interest in Women's Spirituality, Channeling, the Mineral Kingdom and the Celestial Hierarchy for the past twenty-three years. She is a graduate member and former tutor of the International College of Crystal Healing, a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and a Reiki Master. Marion is also an experienced metaphysical teacher and lecturer in both the UK and USA. She presently lives in South East England with her American husband.
Marion's work career spanned over forty years and during much of that time she was closely involved in the care and early childhood education of abused and neglected children. She was a school teacher in England, and then a director of three different day care centers in America. After returning home, she became a local government officer for registering and inspecting all types of day care facilities for children under the age of 8.
A neurological illness in 1998 caused Marion to take early retirement, but it also gave her the opportunity to pursue a life-long dream. There was finally plenty of free time to write. She has written non-fiction books about her paranormal involvement with the angelic realms and the intriguing subject of contemporary crystal skulls. Her Angelic Chronicles novels are Fantasy tales of the Celestial Hierarchy, filled with adventure, romance and the fight between good and evil. Marion's books are described by reviewers as "hard to put down." According to them she is a writer who "sweeps one along," and then "leaves your heart panging." You can read reviews of her writings at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or at AuthorsDen.
This popular writer describes herself as a people watcher. She sees the human experience as one that is filled with possibilities and continuous change. The duality that exists within each person fascinates Marion and she uses her many years of working and communicating with people as a blueprint for 'fleshing out' the characters in her novels. She feels she has been inspired to write by her passion for reading from a very early age. In adulthood this developed into a love of different types of lierature. Marion enjoys the classics, horror stories, tales of the supernatural, romantic sagas and certain Sci-Fi and Fantasy yarns.

"Ask an Astronomer" is run by volunteers in the Astronomy Department at Cornell University. There are several astronomers involved in maintaining the site and answering the questions sent in. Most of us are graduate students at Cornell, and all of us do this voluntarily, in our own time, fitting it in around our other work.
Karen Masters
Karen studies the distribution and motions of galaxies in the local universe. She got her PhD from Cornell in August 2005 and is now a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
